ISO 9706 specifies requirements for permanence of this products.

The  word “permanent” defines a product whose physicochemical properties increase longevity without compromising recycling.

This standard requires:

A minimum content neutralizing substances acid action, measured by determination of calcium carbonate (buffered)

• ISO 10716 – Alkaline reserve : > 0,4 mol/kg

Ceiling of easily oxidized materials, determined by the value of Kappa

• ISO 302 – Kappa rate : < 5

Maximum and minimum values of the pH paper, after extraction with cold water

• ISO 6588 – PH : between 7,5 and 10,0

Paper/cardboard : 90 to 420 gr/m²

Sheets or reels
Colors: light grey or light blue

Fiberboard : 1,0 mm (1050 gr/m²) to 2,5 mm (2500 gr/m²)

Density : 0.9 to 1.0
